PRIVACY STATEMENT RC Inspection
Collection and use of personal data from customers, suppliers, and other contractors
We would like to notify you that the personal data you provide us with will be collected and used due to the necessity for any agreement concluded between you and RC Inspection. This applies to all our (potential) customers and any parties we conduct business with.
In case you are a (potential) customer of us, we may use your data to send you a quotation, to be able to control which specifications or requests a particular case or service has to comply with, to be able to provide business or to be able to carry out any type of work, to be able to invoice and to communicate with you in a fluent and efficient manner about the implementation aspects of the agreement.
In case you are you a (potential) supplier or other contractors, your data will also be necessary and needed for the execution of the agreement. When purchasing, it is necessary to let you know which specifications or wishes, as far as we are concerned, a particular case or service must comply with, to send a request for quotation or to place an order with you, to pay your invoices and to be able to communicate with you in a fluent and efficient manner about other aspects of the agreement.
You are not required to provide us with your personal data. Hence, If you don’t provide us any or insufficient personal data, it might be possible we will not be able to carry out the aforementioned business activities.
Transfer to third parties
In relation to the execution of any possible agreement you may have with us, in some cases, we may have to provide your personal data to third parties that provide services to us or on our behalf. Our sales and purchase administration data, of which your personal data makes part of, is stored on our central server. Furthermore, we use Microsoft Office and/or Mark5 and the associated storage for emails and other files and a program for our newsletter, which you can unsubscribe off at any time using the unsubscribe link.
Personal data retention period
If you have requested a quote from us but did not become a client, in the end, we will delete your data no longer than one year after our last contact. Also, in case we have received a quotation from you, but we did not become a customer, your personal data will be deleted one year after our last contact at the latest. If you become our client or we are with you, we will retain your personal data for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you has been fully executed. The seven-year period corresponds to the period in which we are obliged to keep our administration for the Tax Authorities. After this period we will delete your personal data.
You have the right to ask us to view your own personal data. If there is any reason to do so, you can also request us to supplement your personal data or to change inaccuracies. You also have the right to request to delete your personal data or limit the use of your personal data. You can also object to the collection and use of your data or file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Finally, you can request us to obtain your personal data or transfer that data to another organization. You can send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org at any time. You can also contact us for questions or for more information about the collection and use of your personal data.
