We are extremely proud to announce that RC Inspection Asia Assayers LLC has been granted the operations of the Oyu Tolgoi Concentrator laboratory.
The base of this succes is the professional collaboration from our international Group experts in the fields of environmental- and on-site mine sampling and analysis. Specialists from Europe and Africa joined the team in Mongolia to share valued knowledge and to support the implementation of the laboratory management system.
About the concentrator.
The Oyu Tolgoi Concentrator is the biggest industrial unit ever built in Mongolia, covering an area of 255 metres long and 144 metres wide. It produced its first copper concentrate in February 2013 and can process up to 100,000 tonnes of ore each day.
The concentrator plant will be upgraded during underground construction to handle higher-grade ore and increased production.
RC Inspection Asia Assayers LLC
Since 2015, the operations and laboratory of RC Inspection Asia Assayers LLC are acknowledged by ISO/IEC 17020:2012 accreditation, with registration number IB-010 and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation, with registration number TL 110.
The accreditations are provided by the Mongolian Agency for Standardization and Metrology (MASM).
Having the full range of services recognized in compliance with ISO accreditations, ensures that the policies, practices and procedures of the company can be provided with consistent quality.
