IN-HOUSE ANALYSIS
RC Inspection strives to keep analysis in-house conducted. The laboratories are to-date strategically located in The Netherlands, South Africa, Kenya, DRC, Zambia, Italy and Mongolia. They are equipped with the most modern and advanced instruments to drive accelerated turnaround times and up-to-the-minute reporting through a service driven approach and innovative use of technology.

ISO ACCREDITED
ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accreditation
The laboratories are accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025:2017, or in the process to obtain accreditation, and are actively participating in inter-laboratory tests and international round robins.
The laboratories are registered under the following branch name, accreditation bodies and registration numbers :
- RCI Analytical Services – The Netherlands, Oosterhout – RvA registration nr.: L0611 (scope)
- RCI Asia Assayers LLC – Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar – MNAS registration nr.: TL110 (scope)
Services
In case of a dispute between buyer and seller, umpire analysis can also be carried out by RC Inspection Group Laboratories to determine an independent result of the cargo.
RC Inspection Group companies are carrying out independent qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the chemical elements contained in metals listed on the LME. By using subsequently required techniques to define the required purity and minimum assay that registered brands must meet.
In addition, the Group laboratories are able to determine Gold and Silver content in Copper-, Zinc- and Lead Concentrates.
Black Mass
The upstream portion of the supply chain, extract raw materials for batteries, these raw materials typically contain lithium, cobalt, cadmium, manganese, nickel, and graphite.
Recycling of batteries is necessary to meet the supply chain demand and to minimize the environmental impact.
Black Mass is what you obtain once a battery has been processed for recycling. Once a battery reaches the end of service life (EOL), it is collected, dismantled, and shredded. The shredded material is then processed to produce black mass, which contains high amounts of lithium, manganese, cobalt, cadmium, graphite and nickel. These critical materials can then be extracted from the black mass and re-used in new battery production or in other products and/or applications.
Additional services
The laboratory in the Netherlands also offers various additional services such as EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) services and a broad range of consultancy services.

X-600 fluxer
Most recent addition to the laboratory equipment consists of the Katanax X-600 fluxer. The fluxer combines exceptional accuracy with the advantages of electric power combined with speed, simplicity and a robust design. The Katanax X-600 fluxer is the perfect sustainable partner, creating a perfectly fused bead every time for accurate and swift results.
The PinAAcle 500
The world’s first completely corrosion-resistant flame atomic absorption spectrometer, designed to withstand the harshest environments and most corrosive samples. Resulting in a better consistency and stability for all analysis in future years.
The PinAAcle 900Z is a perfect addition to the laboratory with its longitunidal Zeeman system with a true double-beam design for fast start-up and exceptional long-term stability.
Due to the high precision and stability, these systems will solely be used for the analysis of precious metals in a whole variety of geological samples.
